These are named officers in the Green Army
Since many of these officers started in the Green Air Force some have both army combat medals and air medals. The army combat medals are awarded sparingly than air force medals. A few officers have naval medals from the time in the 1950s when I had a Green Navy and the newly added naval units active now.
Each war equals one years fighting, An officer can be involved in more than one battle in each years war.
The commands mentioned are those the officer served in during the 2008 war. Command assignments can change yearly. Many excellent combat officers are left in their positions for many decades.
